Rudbeckia laciniata v podhorí Lúčanskej Malej Fatry pri Martine pdf
Rudbeckia laciniata in the foothill of Lúčanská Malá Fatra Mts near Martin
s. 15–39.

Abstract: The North American perennial Rudbeckia laciniata is one of the most common neophytes in Central Europe. In the foothills of Lúčanská Malá Fatra Mts, west of Martin (part Stráne – Osikovo), this species was planted as a bee plant on the submontane hay meadow in the early 1960s. Based on species composition this vegetation type belongs to the Galio-Urticetea class, Convolvuletalia sepium order, and Rudbeckia laciniata community. In the area of 3 km2 there are 10 smaller localities with dominance of R. laciniata which are isolated by the barrier of forest stands. The species only invades disturbed habitats after the removal of native Alnion incanae vegetation. Based on aerial photographs from 2012, we bring an approximate comparison of the size of R. laciniata stands with their current state in 2018. In the study area, the species is not yet in the phase of slowed spread. An important factor of the invasion here is the epizoochory.

Komentovaný prehľad zaujímavejších floristických nálezov z východného Slovenska pdf
Commented overview of interesting floristic findings from eastern Slovakia
s. 41–53.

Abstract: The article summarizes floristic findings of 28 species from eastern Slovakia from which three species belong to the category LC (Cyanus segetum, Hibiscus trionum and Lycopodium clavatum), one to NT (Trifolium fragiferum) and two to VU (Lactuca saligna, Leucanthemella serotina) according to the Red List. New localities of autochthonous species (Aposeris foetida, Inula conyzae, Lactuca alpina, Petasites kablikianus and Thlaspi arvense), neophytes (Erechtites hieracifolius, Artemisia annua) and many archaeophytes are presented. Garden escapees (Achillea ptarmica ‘Flore Pleno’, Calendula officinalis, Rudbeckia laciniata, Tanacetum parthenium) were recorded and several older floristic records (Aurinia saxatilis, Inula helenium, Leucanthemella serotina, Petasites kablikianus) were confirmed.

Keywords: Nízke Beskydy Mts., Slanské vrchy Mts., Východoslovenská nížina lowland, neophytes, archaeophytes, Slovak flora, new findings.

Floristické zaujímavosti z juhovýchodnej časti Veľkej Fatry pdf
Interesting floristic notes from the south-eastern part of the Veľká Fatra Mts
s. 55–70.

Abstract: This contribution sums up findings of the occurrences of 72 vascular plants, collected during the autumn 2019 in the south-eastern part of the Veľká Fatra Mts, near the boundary with the Nízke Tatry Mts. Out of them, 22 species belong to native species of Slovakia, 25 are archeophytes, 21 neophytes and 4 species have uncertain residence status. Our research brought more detailed information about the distribution of 14 invasive plants (Amaranthus retroflexus, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Aster lanceolatus, A. novi-belgii, Bidens frondosus, Conyza canadensis, Echinochloa crus-galli, Fallopia japonica, Galinsoga quadriradiata, Impatiens glandulifera, I. parviflora, Solidago canadensis, S. gigantea, Stenactis annua), as well as the first reports about the occurrence of native (Spergularia rubra), probably non-native (Eragrostis minor) and non-native (Digitaria sanguinalis, Mentha ×piperita, Solanum nigrum subsp. schultesii) species in the Veľká Fatra Mts. The localities of Digitaria sanguinalis, Mentha ×piperita and Solanum nigrum subsp. schultesii are most likely the first findings within the phytogeographical district Eucarpaticum. The species Puccinellia distans can be listed as one of the new species for the Veľká Fatra Mts, as well, since the only note about the occurrence is from the vicinity of Banská Bystrica, dated to the end of 19th century. Similarly, the only evidence about the occurrence of Tithymalis exiguus in the Veľká Fatra Mts is dated to 1948. Some other species with only 1–2 (3) localities in this mountain range are: Atriplex sagittata, Geranium pyrenaicum, Oenothera biennis, Portulaca oleracea, Potentilla argentea, P. supina, Stachys annua, Xanthoxalis stricta. A remarkable finding is the occurrence of numerous unusual individuals of Cyclamen fatrense in Suchá dolina Valley near Vyšná Revúca, with white pattern on the upper leaf and greenish lower leaf surface.

Piceo abietis-Sorbetum aucupariae Oberdorfer 1973 – nové spoločenstvo pre Slovensko pdf
Piceo abietis-Sorbetum aucupariae Oberdorfer 1973 – a new plant community for Slovakia
s. 71–74.

Abstract: A rare plant community Piceo abietis-Sorbetum aucupariae was recognized in Kremnické vrchy Mts (Central Slovakia). This association known from Austria, Germany, and Czech Republic represents succession stages typical for forest windthrow and forest clearings which lead to the acidophilous spruce and/or beech forests. The criteria based on the Oberdorfer’s original definition were used for relevés selection from national database of relevés, nevertheless no similar relevés were found. The relations to the related vegetation types are discussed.

Keywords: Crataego-Prunetea, shrub vegetation, succession, West Carpathians.

Výsledky Floristického minikurzu konaného v roku 2019 v Bratislave, v mestských častiach Rača a Vajnory pdf
Results of the Floristic mini-course held in 2019 in Bratislava boroughs of Rača and Vajnory
s. 75–92.

Abstract: New data on the occurrence of synanthropic vascular plant species in the National park Muránska planina (Central Slovakia) are given. The attention is particularly paid to findings of several neophytes in forest ecosystems (Abutilon theophrasti, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Bidens frondosa, Datura stramonium, Erechtites hieracifolius, Helianthus annuus, H. tuberosus, Iva xanthiifolia, Lupinus polyphyllus). These species have been found mostly close to hunter hides, feed-through and similar stands. Feeding of game animals and crop decoy application in the natural forests in the higher elevations and strictly protected areas seem to be inadvertent and undesirable. New data on the spontaneous occurrence of several alien cultivated ornamental plants in the study area (Aster laevis, A. novae-angliae, A. novii-belgii, A. versicolor, Calendula officinalis, Cerastium tomentosum, Cosmos bipinnatus, Euphorbia marginata, Hylotelephium spectabile, Mentha spicata, Miscanthus sinensis, Narcissus pseudonarcissus, Petunia × atkinsiana, Pharbitis purpurea, Phlox paniculata, P. subulata, Rudbeckia bicolor, Sedum lydium, Tagetes patula) are given as well. One locality of the critically endangered species Silene gallica has been found.
